Though it cut its proverbial teeth on the Fox Body Ford Mustang, Steeda has been busy cranking out parts and accessories for newer models as of late, whether that be other generations of the iconic pony car, or even vehicles such as the Ford Bronco and Ford Maverick. Somewhat surprisingly, the Ford Maverick, specifically, has become quite popular to modify and extract additional performance from since its debut for the 2022 model year – and as such, Steeda has announced that it will invest in research and development for that compact pickup, too.
Steeda already offers an array of parts for the Ford Maverick – including lowering springs and various other upgrades – but now, it’s making additional investments in its R&D department that are specifically aimed at expanding that part of the catalog. Steeda has prepared for this expansion following months of research and evaluations of the pickup’s CAD data, not to mention feedback from owners, who are seemingly clamoring for more ways to upgrade the performance and looks of their Maverick models.
Thus far, the Ford Maverick has proven to be a bit of a revelation as an affordable and economical compact pickup with plenty of utility to offer – something that was absent from the U.S. market for years. It also has proven that it has plenty of room for performance upgrades, and in that regard, owners should soon have several more to choose from. Steeda plans to design performance upgrades that cater to those who daily drive their Ford Maverick pickups, as well as enthusiasts that are looking to enhance their on-track performance, too.
“The Ford Maverick is an affordable, practical, and highly customizable vehicle that meets customers’ needs now – and then one day, they may want to step up to a Ford Bronco, Explorer, or F-150,” said Steeda President Dario Orlando. “Our goal is to help owners enhance their Maverick experience with suspension upgrades, performance enhancements, and appearance packages.”

When is Ford going to fix the battery on my 2024 xlt hybrid maverick the 12 volt battery has been changed 3 times and I had to have it jump started today
I had problem that was mentioned regarding the interior lights and bed light not working. My dealer took about 2 hours to determine that it was the 12 volt battery. They said they had gotten a bad batch at the factory. The replacement has performed fine, and I see there is now a recall for that issue. Perhaps Vern got more than 1 from that batch?
Stay on topic, people.
