The Ford Power Promise program made its U.S. debut last September, bringing a host of perks to Ford EV owners in an effort to boost accessibility and make battery-powered models even more appealing. The initiative is available to buyers of the Ford F-150 Lightning, the Ford E-Transit, and the Ford Mustang Mach-E. But what, exactly, does the Ford Power Promise program entitle its EV owners to? Ford Authority outlines everything you need to know about the EV-exclusive promotion.
The Ford Power Promise underscores The Blue Oval’s commitment to EVs and their owners, eliminating some of the hurdles that might dissuade buyers from picking up a battery electric vehicle for themselves. One of its perks is the free installation of the Ford Charge Station Pro home charger, which is offered at zero cost to EV buyers. Said installation is completed by Qmerit Electrification, and once it’s all set up, it allows Ford EV owners to charge their vehicles right in their own garage.
Beyond home charging, the Ford Power Promise refines the public charging process for EV owners at select charging stations. The BlueOval Charging Network is available to Ford EV owners, allowing them to activate and pay for charging services through an app on their phones. Owners are also entitled to on-demand support via the 24/7 Live Support service, along with Ford Towing Assistance, which is complimentary to all Ford owners for five years or 60,000 miles, depending on which milestone is reached first.
Finally, Ford Power Promise backs up The Blue Oval’s EV lineup with an eight-year/100,000-mile high voltage battery warranty program. Note that the aforementioned perks are only available to U.S. Ford EV buyers who purchase or lease a 2024 or 2025 model year F-150 Lightning, Mustang Mach-E, or E-Transit between April 3rd and June 30th, 2025. Eligible buyers must take delivery before June 30th. Additionally, a $500 rebate is offered in place of home charger installation through the Public Charging Credit promotion.
While these benefits are exclusively available to U.S. buyers, Ford Power Promise is also available to customers in the UK and Canada to encourage EV adoption.

These perks help but don’t solve the many other issues that EVs have.
