The Ford Mustang Bullitt was built to honor the legendary car driven by Steve McQueen in the big-screen movie of the same name, and it has also lived through three generations of The Blue Oval’s iconic pony car thus far – SN95, S197, and S550. Every Ford Mustang Bullitt is special in its own right, and each generation has shared plenty of similarities as well, all of which pay homage to the original Bullitt Mustang. Now, this ultra-low-mile 2019 model is heading to auction as a suitable target for collectors, too.
This 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt has a mere 85 miles on the clock, in fact, and is set to cross the block at Mecum’s Indianapolis, Indiana auction this coming week. As one might imagine given that information, it’s in spectacular, like-new condition, with no flaws noted nor visible in the photos provided. It’s finished in signature Highland Green paint with black 19-inch five-spoke wheels, a spoiler and badge delete, chrome trim on the side windows and grille, and a faux gas cap.
Inside, this Ford Mustang Bullitt features a white shift knob, a digital instrument cluster with a unique Bullitt welcome screen, and a leather-trimmed interior with green accent stitching on the dashboard, door panels, center console, and seats. Power comes from an upgraded version of the naturally-aspirated Ford 5.0L Coyote V8, which was factory-rated to produce 480 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque and is mated to the MT82 six-speed manual transmission.
As Ford Authority previously reported, the last Ford Mustang Bullitt rolled off the line at the Flat Rock Assembly plant in late 2020, and we haven’t seen that particular model resurface since. Thus, anyone wanting to secure one is forced to look to the used market – and the auction circuit – but luckily, there are plenty of them ripe for the picking. Along with this very low-mile example, that list recently included another 2019 model with an also-quite-low 6k miles on the odometer.
