As owners are well aware by now, the sixth-generation Ford Bronco has a tremendous number of parts and accessories available for purchase via the Ford Performance catalog, in addition to the burgeoning aftermarket. Bronco owners certainly have a plethora of ways they can customize their rugged SUVs to look different, offer up more in the way of tech, increase power, or just improve that model’s off-road capability. Now, the 2021-2025 Ford Bronco is getting yet another new offering via the Ford Performance catalog – a pair of upgraded half shafts.

The new 2021-2025 Ford Bronco upgraded half shaft kit is now listed for sale in the Ford Performance catalog under part number M-3429-BU, with a retail price of $2,835. As one might imagine, the purpose of this particular kit is to upgrade the off-road capability of the newest generation of the Ford Bronco, as these half shafts utilize higher-strength materials for added durability, and enable more articulation for extreme off-roading purposes such as rock climbing.

These 29-spline half shares fit all 2021-2025 Ford Bronco models equipped with the M210 front drive unit (otherwise known as the factory e-locker axle), and are also recommended for those that equip their Broncos with an FDU from the Ford Performance catalog. The offering joins an upgraded 32-spline front half shaft kit that just debuted for the 2023-2025 Ford Bronco Raptor, which is designed to help beef up that high-performance variant in the same manner.

These new upgraded half shaft kits also join a host of Ford Bronco parts and accessories that have been added to the Ford Performance catalog in recent months. That list includes spare tire mount upgrade kits for models with and without digital rear cameras, as well as a Spare Tire Mount Reinforcement Kit that helps reinforce the spare tire mount on the tailgate to help support the weight of larger tires, and it includes the same black powder-coated swing gate hinges and exoskeleton present on the Bronco Raptor, along with a rubber bumper stopper and a matte black rear Bronco emblem, to boot.
