The Ford Maverick has become a tremendously popular addition to The Blue Oval’s lineup since it debuted for the 2022 model year, and was just treated to its very first refresh in the current 2025 model year. The thrifty, affordable pickup has also become incredibly popular to modify in various ways, whether that be in terms of appearances or performance, and as such, the Ford Performance catalog has expanded to add several options for Ford Maverick owners in recent months. Now, those that own a 2022-2024 Ford Maverick sans the Tremor Off-Road Package can get the same smoked lens taillights as that model came with, too.
The new 2022-2024 Ford Maverick smoked lens taillight kit is now available in the Ford Performance catalog under part number M-13404-MV with a retail price of $740. For that outlay of cash, one gets the same pair of OEM smoked lens taillights that came equipped on Maverick Tremor models from the factory, prior to its refresh at least, which helps give the compact pickup a sportier look out back.
Though it became its own trim level as part of the 2025 model year refresh, the older Ford Maverick Off-Road Package added a variety of changes to that model compared to ones that aren’t equipped with it, aside from its smoked lens taillights. Those include things like a unique all-wheel drive system that utilizes a twin-clutch rear-drive unit with a differential lock feature, specially-tuned springs and shocks, unique dark gray anodized 17-inch aluminum wheels with Tremor Orange accents, and standard all-terrain tires.
In addition to this new smoked lens taillight kit, Ford Maverick owners also gained another way to alter the looks of their pickups recently via the new black oval kit that just debuted in the same Ford Performance catalog just a couple of weeks ago. Similar to other black oval kits we’ve seen for various models, this one enables owners to replace their blue ovals with black pieces, both in the front and the rear, for a cost of $140.
