2025 Ford F-150 Lightning: All Available Touchscreens Explained

The 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning spent quite a bit of time seemingly under wraps. After a long delay, production finally kicked off at the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center back in January, putting the all-electric pickup one step closer to the hands of its customers. One thing drivers use daily is the infotainment screen, and as for the F-150 Lightning, and Ford Authority is here to make sense of the available options.

The entry level 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning Pro and XLT trims both feature the 12-inch center stack touchscreen as standard. This screen offers access to phone integration apps, along with navigation and media controls. This is the only screen available on the fleet-only Pro and XLT trims.

The 2025 Ford F-150 Flash, Lariat, and Platinum trims share a larger screen. These trims feature the standard 15-inch touchscreen, which runs Sync 4 with Enhanced Voice Recognition. In addition to the larger touch screen, that package bundles wireless phone connectivity, cloud connectivity, AppLink with an app catalog, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and conversational voice command recognition.

In addition to the aforementioned screens, all 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning trims now boast SiriusXM 360L as standard fare. The package includes a three-month complimentary trial – but if the customer wants to continue using it beyond that, they must pay the subscription fee.

Other standout updates include the addition of the new Dark Elements appearance package, which is offered as a $1,000 option on the Platinum trim. It adds 22-inch black-painted wheels, black Ford ovals and badging, and a black interior. The electric pickup also gets BlueCruise 1.4, which is designed to provide a smoother, more natural hands-free highway driving experience, and maximum DC fast charging current has improved from 450 amps to 500 amps.

  1. I recently rented a car at the Miami Airport. When I started the car the touchscreen warned me that using the screen while driving was dangerous, and that if I needed to operate the screen while driving, I should pull over to the side of the road and stop to do so. I agree with the warning and think that this is an issue that you should cover.
