2025 Ford Maverick Recalled Over Instrument Panel Bezel Issue

Ford is recalling select 2025 Ford Maverick pickups over an issue with the instrument panel bezel.

The problem: in affected vehicles, the passenger airbag disable indicator lamp may become dislodged from the instrument panel bezel, preventing the indicator from being visible to the driver and/or passengers.

The hazards: vehicles impacted by this issue fail to conform with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 208, Occupant Crash Protection.

Ford is not aware of any reports of accident or injury related to this condition.

Components: instrument panel bezel

Affected vehicles: select 2025 Ford Maverick produced at the Hermosillo Assembly plant between April 11th, 2024, and April 25th, 2025.

Number of affected vehicles: unknown at this time

The fix: dealers are being instructed not to demonstrate or deliver any vehicles involved in this recall. Repair instructions will be provided when parts are available, which is expected to occur in Q3 2025.
