The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E debuted last October for the U.S. bearing a host of updates, as has become the norm for the EV crossover with each passing model year. Most notably, those updates included the addition of a new standard heat pump, the Sport Appearance Package for the Premium trim, a column shifter that replaces the console-mounted unit, and the new Ford Connectivity Package, along with three new exterior color options. This past April, the European 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E got many of the same tweaks, and now, the updated EV crossover has debuted for Mexico, too.
For starters, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT is getting a new gloss black grille, while three new exterior colors are being added to the palette – Sand, Magenta Red, and Electric Blue, which join Sunset Black, Metallic White, Denim Gray, Dark Green, and Sun Yellow. The Mach-E Rally is being treated to a new set of dark gray wheels, and inside the cabin, the EV crossover gets a new 5G modem, plus the same new “superstalk” shifter that’s located on the column, rather than the console, as was previously the case.
In terms of power, both the Mach-E GT and Rally get 50 additional pound-feet of torque, bringing that number up to 700 and enabling each to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds. The automaker has made various improvements to features including the Securilock anti-theft perimeter alarm, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping, evasive maneuvering assistance, and the blind spot monitoring system with cross traffic alert to make them more effective and easier to manage, too. Finally, Mach-E owners in Mexico can now access the “Watts by VEMO” application and receive a pre-loaded balance of up to $5,000 pesos to use it at any of that company’s 1,000 charging points.
“For Ford of Mexico it is important to guarantee our electric vehicle customers that, regardless of the circumstance, they have close and reliable options to charge their vehicle. The company has a strong commitment to continue providing innovative mobility solutions, such as our alliance with VEMO, a proudly Mexican company,” said Lucien Pinto, President and CEO of Ford of Mexico.
