Debuting with a complete redesign, the 2025 Lincoln Navigator serves up fresh looks for the full-size luxury SUV, but under the hood, at least one key component carries over from the 2024 model: its powertrain. That twin-turbocharged 3.5L EcoBoost V6 packs plenty of punch under the hood of the Navigator, and now the EPA has revealed the vehicle’s fuel mileage ratings, giving its buyers a better idea of what to expect at the pump.
As previously stated, the 3.5L V6 is the sole engine offered under the hood of the 2025 Lincoln Navigator, connected to the 10-speed automatic transmission, while all-wheel-drive (AWD) is the sole powertrain with a 23.6-gallon tank. That means, regardless of trim, the 2025 Navigator is rated at 15 mpg city and 22 mph highway for a combined 17 mpg. The EPA estimates that owners of the 2025 Navigator can expect to pay an average of $2,800 on fuel annually – or roughly $5,500 more in fuel costs over five years compared to the average new vehicle. In other words, the redesigned Navigator is a bit of a gas hog.
Comparatively, the 2024 Navigator has slightly better fuel economy ratings despite having the same 3.5L V6, 10-speed automatic, and AWD. It boasts 16 mpg city, 22 highway, and 18 combined. Annual fuel costs average $2,600, while owners spend $4,500 more on average than other new vehicle buyers across five years.

In terms of looks, the 2025 Lincoln Navigator features a completely overhauled exterior featuring a more aggressive, upright design than its 2024 model year predecessor. While 22-inch wheels are standard, the luxury SUV offers optional 24-inch wheels for the first time. Meanwhile, passengers and drivers can enjoy the new 48-inch panoramic display that spans the entire length of the dash – and as if that weren’t already enough, it’s paired with a 11.1-inch center touchscreen. Lincoln Rejuvenate returns, turning the 2025 Navigator into a spa on wheels.
Unsurprisingly, all those updates come at a cost. The 2025 Navigator starts at $99,995 not including destination freight charges (DFC), making it significantly more expensive than the 2024 model.
