Ford And Lincoln Lineup To Get New Widget Sports Fans Will Love

The all-new Ford Digital Experience software made its official debut back in January, and since then, has made its way into the redesigned 2024 Lincoln Nautilus, as well as the refreshed 2025 Lincoln Aviator and Ford Explorer. The automaker handled much of the development of this new software in conjunction with Google, and it’s centered around personalizing the experience for individual users, as well as adding more integrated apps and connected features. Now, the Ford Digital Experience has gained a new widget specifically aimed at sports fans.

That widget is part of SiriusXM and displays the the score of whatever game users are tuned into while they’re listening, providing an easy, line-of-sight way to check on that piece of information at any time while also keeping one’s eyes on the road ahead. Scores will remain visible in vehicles equipped with the new panoramic screen – the 2025 Ford Expedition, 2025 Lincoln Navigator, and 2025 Nautilus – even when one switches away from SiriusXM on the center touchscreen display – a handy feature if users want to pull up something like maps while continuing to monitor the game.

In vehicles that don’t have the new panoramic screen – the 2025 Lincoln Aviator and Ford Explorer – the same widget is also available on the instrument panel display, too. SiriusXM users can take advantage of this feature (via their free trial as well) across a broad array of sports, as it currently airs every NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB game, collegiate sports, plus every NASCAR, F1 and IndyCar race, PGA TOUR events, the golf and tennis majors, and more.

Fresh off winning MotorTrend‘s 2025 Best Tech Award, the Ford/Lincoln Digital Experience software has gained quite a few new apps and features as of late – a list that includes the Road.Travel app, which uses advanced location-based technology to play audio stories as users drive past certain points of interest along pre-planned trips, as well as a retro gaming app, too.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  1. I took my Daughters new 2025 Lincoln Navigator for a drive the other day. It is quieter than the old one and the new dash display is very nice. It also has a little softer ride which in good.
When reaching to mechanically adjust the AC Ducts while driving, I realized they were non-adjustable. I was a little perplexed that you have to take your eyes off the road to adjust them through the display in the center if the dash. This is not a good idea.
I also noticed the brakes were very sensitive compared to the old one. Not sure why that change was made.
