Ford F-150 Raptor Inspired Pickup Appears In Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer: Video

Many Ford vehicles have appeared in video games over the years, with most of them doing so in officially licensed fashion. That includes the mega-popular game Fortnite, which now features the first-generation Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, as well as Forza Horizon 5 and its virtual Ford Bronco, Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400, and Ford F-150 Lightning models, plus  the Ford F-150 Rocket League Edition model appearing in that game, as well as via a real-life counterpart. Now, we’re learning that a Ford F-150 Raptor inspired pickup will be appearing in the forthcoming game Grand Theft Auto VI, too.

In this newly released trailer for the much-anticipated (and oft-delayed) Grand Theft Auto VI, we get a glance at this F-150 Raptor like pickup, which looks something like a mashup between that model, a Ram 1500, and even perhaps a Toyota Tundra in certain ways. There are some clear Raptor styling cues, however, such as the “VAPID” script adorning the front grille, alluding to the fact that producers call this one-off creation the Vapid Caracara – a model that was previously added to Grand Theft Auto Online, and now, will star in Grand Theft Auto VI, too.

Other than that Ford-like feature, the Caracara also sports wide fenders like the F-150 Raptor, fender flares, large off-road tires, a center stripe, and graphics adorning the bottom of the doors and the rear bedsides. Ultimately, the Vapid Caracara takes a lot of inspiration from the second-generation Ford F-150 Raptor, as we can see via the front grille treatment. Its rear exhaust is more reminiscent of the first-gen model, however, coupled with a host of other elements taken from various models that don’t come from The Blue Oval.

Video game fans have undoubtedly been waiting a long time for the arrival of Grand Theft Auto VI, which was just delayed to May 2026. In fact, Grand Theft Auto V came out way back in 2013, and the sixth installment was originally confirmed in February 2022 – meaning that hopefully, at least, it’ll live up to that elongated wait.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
