Back in February, Ford revealed that it would be launching the Tremor brand in Brazil this year, though at the time, it stopped short of telling us which Tremor models customers in that country would be able to purchase. We learned that those would consist of the Ford Maverick Tremor and Ford F-150 Tremor just last month, both of which share quite a lot in common with their U.S.-based counterparts, as one would imagine. Now, the Ford F-150 Tremor is officially on sale in that South American country, the automaker has confirmed.
As one might imagine, the Brazilian Ford F-150 Tremor is quite similar to the refreshed pickup that debuted in the U.S. for the 2024 model year, with its signature orange accents throughout, air intakes in the hood, front and rear tow hooks, a skid plate, “Tremor” badging, and 18-inch wheels wrapped with General Grabber AT 275/70 tires. Inside the cabin, the Brazilian Ford F-150 Tremor sports “Tremor” emblems in the seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 12-inch infotainment screen running SYNC software, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, auxiliary switches, and Pro Trailer Assist.
In terms of powertrains, the Brazilian F-150 Tremor is only available with one – the naturally-aspirated 5.0L V8 Coyote engine – which sends 405 horsepower to either the rear or all four wheels via the 10-speed automatic transmission. Underneath, the Tremor gets additional ground clearance compared to the regular F-150, along with improved entry and departure angles, a specially tuned suspension, an electronic locking rear differential, and a Torsen front differential.
On top of all that, the Ford F-150 Tremor comes equipped with one pedal drive – essentially an off-road cruise control feature – along with Pro Power Onboard to help provide power for all sorts of things on the go. Brazilian customers get their choice of four exterior colors – Vesuvius Black, Space White, Tower Gray, or Deer Silver – for a starting price of R$ 580,000 ($101,620 USD).
