The Santa Cruz is no longer a pick-up,correct?
I just traded my 2022 maverick awd with towing package for a 2025 hybrid awd with the 4000lb towing package. It towed my 3900 lb boat smoother and at better gas mileage than the 2022. Plus, I love the eruption green!

I can understand a certain lag time for its competitors to come up with their own trucks, but this is ridiculous. The Maverick is killing it.
I traded my ’24 Lariat Hybrid for the ’25 AWD Lariat Hybrid cuz I live in upstate NY and experience winter with a sloped driveway and hills. Got the Eruption Green and about half the time I’m out with the truck I get compliments on both the color and truck in general. With the AWD and the other new added features I’m loving the ’25 and glad I did it.The couple times I’ve seen one of those Santa Cruz, the appearance just really turned me off. I would describe the look as a cob job.
As good as the Maverick AWD Hybrid is Ford is still missing an opportunity to increase market share in the mid size pick up truck market by not having a Ranger PHEV or Hybrid version. If F can make the PHEV version in Australia and SE Asia then there should be a strong market in the U.S.
If only the Maverick wasn’t so ugly!
