In the U.S., Ford Mustang Mach-E discounts and incentives have proven plentiful as of late, and in many cases, include not only rebates, but also, zero percent financing and special lease deals – not to mention the employee pricing for everyone program. Though Mach-E prices did just go up in America following the implementation of 25 percent tariffs on imported vehicles, shoppers in Australia that are considering purchasing one of those same EVs now have a chance to take advantage of their own robust discounts on existing inventory as well.
According to The Driven, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is eligible for a series of new discounts in Australia that are aimed at moving existing dealer stock. Those apply to every trim level in the lineup, starting with the entry-level Select. That crossover has received a $7,000 price cut, taking its MSRP down to $63,000, while the mid-grade Premium has received a $9,000 discount, which means that one can score that trim for as little as $77,000.
The range-topping, high-performance Ford Mustang Mach-E GT gets the biggest discount in Australia, however – $12,000 off, which makes its starting price $94,000. These are just the latest of several price drops for the EV crossover since it debuted in Australia back in 2023, at which time the Select started out at $79,990 before on-road costs were added. However, sales haven’t exactly been robust, either.
Rather, The Blue Oval sold a grand total of 51 Ford Mustang Mach-E crossovers during an abbreviated 2023, followed by 673 units in 2024, and 181 sales through the first four months of 2025 – making for a grand total of 905 units sold across an 18-month period. By comparison, the Mach-E recorded 11,607 sales in the U.S. through the first quarter of 2025 alone, a 21 percent sales increase compared to Q1 2024. Notably, that total doesn’t include the updated 2025 model, which just began shipping to U.S. dealers, according to Ford.
