Ford Sells 150K Vehicles With Employee Pricing Since April

Back in early April, Ford announced its new “employee pricing for everyone plan,” on the very same day that 25 percent tariffs on imported automobiles took effect. This new incentive offers customers the same sort of discount on new vehicle purchases as Blue Oval workers. At that time, Ford announced that customers could take advantage of this special pricing through early June, but due to its tremendous success, the automaker recently opted to extend it into July. Now, Ford CEO Jim Farley has revealed just how many vehicles the automaker has sold with that same discount applied.

According to Farley, Ford has sold more than 150,000 new vehicles with its employee pricing applied since the program took effect in early April. This news doesn’t come as a huge surprise, however. In fact, as Ford Authority previously reported, Blue Oval dealers are reporting robust – and even record – sales in some parts of the country as a result, even as select vehicles actually got more expensive following its implementation. Ford also revealed that dealer showroom traffic across the U.S. has increased by “double digits” following the employee pricing for everyone plan’s implementation.

The Ford employee pricing for everyone plan is currently slated to run until July 4th, but dealers aren’t required to participate, and there are some models that don’t qualify – including the Ford Ranger Raptor, Ford Bronco Raptor, and Ford F-150 Raptor, as well as the Ford Mustang Dark Horse and GTD, the Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition, the redesigned 2025 Ford Expedition and 2025 Lincoln Navigator, the 2025 Ford Super Duty lineup, F-450 and F-550 Chassis Cabs, E-450 Cutaway and E-450 Stripped Chassis, F-53 Class A Motorhome Chassis and F59 Commercial Stripped Chassis, plus the F-650 and F-750 Chassis Cab.
