Ford share values are five percent higher when compared to the first day of trading in 2025. Wall Street continues to grapple with how it should evaluate legacy automakers in the wake of the ongoing EV transition. Additionally, the tariffs enacted the Trump administration have also upended any expectations about Ford stock in 2025. That said, Ford has frequently shifted its EV product plans and goals, likely adding to skepticism from investors. It has now settled on an “everything for everyone” approach to its lineup that gives buyers a choice between gas, hybrid, and all-electric vehicles.

Am I on target for Ford stock to climb into the mid teens within 18 months or simply looking at a 24 hour blue sky life style with open bar ? 2026 appears to have a number of positive influences on perfromance such as the opening of battery production facilities, hybrid versions of additional vehicles, skunkworks announcements of new product offerings, supposed improvement on QA leading to reduced warranty costs and, hopefully, reduced tarilff implications across the globe. I bought F starting in the high 2’s ( obviously years ago) and have only added to my overweight Ford portfolio ever since and enjoy a significat divi payment from my Roth. Would appreciate any feedback from more objective followers of SA.
