NATO Olive Ford Mustang RTR Spec 3 Is One Of Just Two Built

Ford Performance racer Vaughn Gittin Jr. has long enjoyed a fruitful relationship with The Blue Oval, and launched his own company – RTR (Ready To Rock) years ago as a way to churn out upgrades for the Ford Mustang and other models from that automaker. RTR has since gone on to enjoy tremendous success and even sells entire turnkey builds – including, most recently, the new EcoBoost S650 Ford Mustang RTR. For those that crave a good old fashioned V8, this NATO Olive 2025 Ford Mustang RTR Spec 3 is about as rare as they come, too.

This 2025 Ford Mustang RTR Spec 3 recently surfaced for sale at Johnson City Ford in Tennessee, and it’s one of just 10 Spec 3 models planned to be built in the current model year, as well as one of just two that are finished in the unique shade known as NATO Olive. We’ve seen that military-style hue adorn the flanks of a few Blue Oval models recently – including the quite rare and expensive Ford Bronco DR – but this is the first time we’ve come across that same treatment on a current-generation pony car, at least.

Along with its unique exterior color, this RTR Spec 3 Mustang is also equipped with a set of 19-inch wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 tires, which hide suspension mods such as heavy-duty springs, an RTR shock mount kit, a black-painted strut tower brace, and unique chassis tuning to help it better carve corners. Braking duties are handled by a set of Brembos, while a tow hook up front is present in the event that one has a mishap on the track.

Inside the cabin, this 2025 Ford Mustang RTR Spec 3 is equipped with a Black Onyx leather interior sporting all of the typical goodies one would find in an S650 generation pony car, coupled with RTR badging and a digital boost gauge. That’s needed because under the hood, this Mustang is equipped with a 3.0L Whipple supercharger, helping its 5.0L V8 Coyote engine send 810 horsepower and 615 pound-feet of torque to the wheels. It’s a pretty sweet version of the newest pony car, albeit, one that will set you back a cool $100,515 – though in this case, it’s unlikely the new owner will ever see another one like it.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
