The newer Ford Digital Experience software – which was developed in partnership with Google – has thus far enjoyed its fair share of success among critics, with the Lincoln version winning MotorTrend‘s 2025 Best Tech Award, while the same software also netted the redesigned 2025 Ford Expedition a spot on the 2025 Wards Auto 10 Best Interior & UX Award list, too. One of the niftier capabilities of Ford Digital Experience is that it can play host to a variety of apps, and now, those include some very cool and exclusive retro games one can play, too.
Given the fact that people spend around 5-20 minutes, on average, in their vehicles waiting on something these days – oftentimes, on their phones – Ford decided to come up with a better alternative to kill time in a fun way that can appeal to more than one generation. That’s precisely what led to the creation of the new Ford-exclusive gaming app known as the Arcade Sports Collection, which contains a variety of retro-inspired games that are only available in vehicles with Ford or Lincoln Digital Experience.
The Arcade Sports Collection enables vehicle occupants to use their smartphones as controllers, and is launching with shuffleboard and button soccer to start, with plans to expand the library over the next year. The idea is to offer customers a variety of games that appeal to everyone and are easy to learn, all while delivering an experience that’s reminiscent of the 1980s and 1990s. Ford’s research found that such games are especially popular among millennial and Gen X parents and baby boomer grandparents, offering up a unique way for them to connect with their kids or grandkids.
In addition to these new retro games, Blue Oval customers with Ford Digital Experience equipped vehicles can also download a growing selection of games to play on their touchscreens via Google Play, including the racing game Asphalt Nitro 2, and they can even connect a Bluetooth-enabled gaming controller if so desired.

Oh, goody! Something else to add to distracted driving…
The car has to be parked for the app to function. You didn’t seriously think that this would work when the vehicle is in motion, did you?
For a low, low, low price of 47.99 per month plus 19.99 because they can charges. But wait, if you sign up fast you can get it for a bargain of 64.99 including charges.
Come on Ford, you are better than this
the only way for this to not cause distracted driving would be for it to only work while the vehicle is in park
