Ford and professional race car driver Romain Dumas have enjoyed quite a bit of success at the iconic Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in recent years, seting a new class record in 2023 in the SuperVan before returning last year in the new Ford F-150 Lightning SuperTruck and taking home a win by beating out 61 competitors. Now, with the 2025 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb set to take place in less than a month, Dumas and The Blue Oval will return yet again – this time, in another new ride dubbed the Super Ford Mustang Mach-E.

We learned back in January that a new Ford Mustang Mach-E EV demonstrator was in the works, and now, The Blue Oval has pulled the covers off that model and given us our very first look at it. Though we don’t have any details regarding the new Super Mach-E yet, it sports a very similar exterior treatment as the Lightning SuperTruck, with a massive front splitter paired with an equally gigantic rear wing, side skirts, and a rear diffuser that looks like it eats pavement for lunch.
Dumas and the new Super Mach-E will attempt to continue some tremendous recent success, which began at the 2023 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, where he piloted the SuperVan 4.2 to a win in the Open Division with a time of 8:47.682, which also happened to be a new record for that class by nearly 40 seconds and was good enough for second place overall. The very next year, Dumas returned in the Lightning SuperTruck and charged up Pikes Peak in a blazing time of 8:53.553, securing an overall win while also setting a new qualifying record for the open class with a time of 3:32.831.
