The latest version of the Ford Ranger Black debuted in Brazil last October, giving shoppers the same sort of blacked-out, urban-focused model that was also available as part of the mid-size pickup’s previous generation. The Blue Oval also launched its digital subscription car service – dubbed Ford Go – in Brazil back in 2021, which takes place entirely online and allows customers to drive a new vehicle each year, for a fixed monthly cost that is all-inclusive and includes insurance, taxes, maintenance, and other ownership-related expenses. Now, customers in that same country can rent the all-new Ford Ranger Black via this same service.
Those interested in renting a Ford Ranger Black in Brazil can do so with a down payment of R$5,427 ($962 USD), which gives them a mileage limit of 1,000 kilometers (621 miles) per month over a 36 month term – though customers can also opt for a 12 or 24 month term with mileage limits of up to 5,000 kilometers (3,107 miles) per month. Since its launch a few years ago, the Ford Go program has expanded greatly, and continues to attract new consumers (even fleets) to the brand seeking a simple, all-in-one solution to vehicle ownership.
“The Ranger Black was a model expected by Ford Go customers and our plan is to continue expanding the portfolio offer,” said Victor Coelho, Ford’s Mobility and New Business supervisor. “Soon, we will also offer another novelty – the possibility for the customer to customize his Ranger with accessories, such as bucket protector, maritime hood, santantônio, stirrups, roof rack and other items.”
As for the Ford Ranger Black, it’s unique from the rest of the lineup due to the presence of several features – including a monochromatic black appearance, a Bolder Gray finish on the side mirrors, rear bumper, and “San Antonio” bar, as well as its 18-inch wheels, which are wrapped with 255/65R all-terrain tires. Inside the cabin, there are even more dark finishes to be found, coupled with dark gray appliqués for the instrument panel.
