2002 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCrew With 8K Miles Up For Auction

Most certainly wouldn’t consider them to be vintage vehicles at this point in time, but the truth is, Ford F-150 pickups from the late 1990s and early 2000s have steadily grown in terms of collector interest as of late, which could be partly spurred by their lack of over-the-top tech and inherent simplicity compared to newer models. Whatever the reason, Ford F-150 pickups from this era are also still quite bit cheaper to purchase than new examples, which doesn’t hurt, either. Now, those that have been eyeballing a Ford F-150 from this particular era have another nice one to bid on, too.

This 2002 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCrew pickup is currently up for auction at Bring a Trailer, and it has just 8k miles on the clock, making it a rather enticing target for those in the market for one. It was sold new in New Jersey and remained in the possession of the original owner until this year, but clearly, they didn’t use it much over the past couple of decades. As such, the F-150 looks showroom fresh with seemingly perfect True Blue Metallic paint and gray lower-bodywork, coupled with 17-inch chrome wheels.

One will find much of the same inside the cabin, which features seats wrapped in Medium Graphite leather that are heated in this case and joined by amenities such as power windows and locks, automatic climate control, cruise control, an AM/FM stereo, and a six-disc CD changer. Power comes from the the naturally-aspirated 5.4L V8 Triton engine, which was factory rated to produce 260 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, sending power to all four wheels.

We’ve certainly seen our fair share of Ford F-150 pickups from this generation pop up for sale with few miles on the clock recently, though this might just be the nicest of that bunch. Previously, we spotted a 1997 F-150 XLT with 37k miles, as well las a 2001 XL model with 43k miles.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
