The Ford Fiesta ST was a truly beloved hot hatch among enthusiasts that unfortunately no longer exists, along with the model that it was based on, as both were discontinued recently. However, we still see some nice examples of the Fiesta ST pop up at collector car auctions on a regular basis, giving fans of that particular model a suitable alternative to buying a new one at a dealer, anyway. That list includes everything from low-mile, bone-stock examples to modified show builds, and now, this 2017 Ford Fiesta ST with 46k miles has popped up for auction.
This 2017 Fiesta ST is currently up for grabs at Cars & Bids, and it remains in mostly stock condition, save for the addition of 16-inch Enkei RPF1 wheels. It isn’t perfect by any means, as its Magnetic paint has flaws including cracked paint on the front bumper, along with various chips, scratches, and dings, plus curb rash on the wheels. However, that could also very well help bring its hammer price down a bit closer to a reasonable level, which would be great for anyone that doesn’t care about having a perfect, showroom-ready example.
Inside, one will find a Smoke Storm interior equipped with the Recaro Package, which added Recaro leather-trimmed heated front bucket seats and heated side mirrors, plus aluminum sport pedals, a Sony sound system, and a Coolerworx short throw shifter. There is some wear present on the seats and interior touch points, and the TPMS light is illuminated, but it’s otherwise in solid shape. Power comes from the turbocharged 1.6L I-4 EcoBoost engine producing 197 horsepower and 202 pound-feet of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
Along with this used but solid Ford Fiesta ST, we’ve seen quite the variety of similar models hit the auction block as of late – a list that includes a bone stock and near-perfect 2017 model with less than 600 miles, as well as a heavily customized 2014 model that was once displayed at the SEMA Show.
