While production of the Ford Focus is slated to end this coming November, that model has been absent from the U.S. lineup for some time now. However, we continue to come across nice examples of the Ford Focus that routinely surface for sale at collector car auctions, typically the performance-focused ST or RS variants – oftentimes with few miles on the clock. That list has expanded yet again, and now includes this very low-mile 2017 Ford Focus RS that should conjure up its fair share of interest at auction, too.
This 2017 Ford Focus is up for grabs at Cars & Bids with less than 700 miles on the clock, and as one might imagine given that piece of information, it remains in like-new condition as a result. In fact, the auction listing doesn’t contain any flaws whatsoever, meaning that the hot hatch sports perfect Nitrous Blue Quad Coat paint, and it has a clean CarFax, to boot. This example is equipped with 19-inch wheels, Brembo front brakes, a power sunroof, and remains in the possession of the original owner, too.
This Ford Focus RS is also equipped with the RS2 Package, which adds a variety of nice features including power heated mirrors, heated Recaro front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a navigation system with voice activation. Those are contained within a super sanitary Charcoal Black interior, which is bone stock save for the addition of a CAE Shifting Technology short shifter. Power comes from the turbocharged 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost engine, which was factory rated to produce 350 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, flowing to all four wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox and Dynamic Torque Vectoring.
This low-mile Ford Focus RS is just the latest of several nice examples we’ve spotted at auction as of late, which is great news for fans of Blue Oval hot hatches, in general. That list also includes a 2016 model with just 1k miles, as well as a 2017 with even fewer – a mere 17, in fact.
