Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2022-2023 Ford Transit models previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 22V415.
The defect: in affected vehicles, the Instrument Panel Cluster may not properly illuminate warning lights or gauges. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, “Control and Displays.”
The hazards: an instrument panel that does not illuminate critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, can increase the risk of a crash.
Ford is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this issue.

Affected vehicles: select 2022-2023 Ford Transit vehicles built between January 3rd, 2022, and November 17th, 2022.
Number of vehicles affected: 3,506
The fix: dealers will update the instrument panel cluster software, free of charge.
Owners should: wait for communications from Ford, which will begin June 23rd, 2025. The Ford reference number for this recall is 25C19.
