Back in January 2024, a very rare 2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H popped up for auction and wound up receiving a high bid of $105,313, which surprisingly failed to meet the reserve price. At that time, the seller – a third party dealer – noted that it would be reaching out to the owner and high bidder in an attempt to reach a deal, though it’s unclear if that ever actually happened. In any event, that same Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H has now surfaced for sale yet again, as it’s set to cross the auction block in just a few weeks.
This 2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H is among a number of vehicles featured in the upcoming Mecum Florida Summer Special sale, set to take place next month. It has a mere 768 miles on the clock and wears CSM number 22H0003, along with a couple of very special features. Those consist of Rapid Red paint and a Shelby supercharger, making it one of six GT-H models fitted with a blower, one of three coupes with that same option, and the only supercharged coupe finished in this particular hue. According to the seller, it was never raced, nor rented out as part of the Hertz fleet, either.
On the outside, the Shelby GT-H Upgrade Package also added goodies such as unique 20-inch aluminum wheels, gold over-the-top Le Mans-style racing stripes, Hertz Edition and Shelby badging, and a Shelby deep draw hood, upper grille, fascia winglets, taillight panel, and rear spoiler. Inside the cabin, one will also find touches like a CSM numbered dash plaque and engine plate, boost pressure and oil pressure gauges, Shelby leather seat covers, embroidered floor mats, and illuminated door sill plates.
Under the hood, the supercharged 5.0L V8 Coyote engine cranks out a whopping 825 horsepower, which in this case flows to the rear wheels via the 10-speed automatic transmission and a 3.55-geared Torsen limited-slip rear axle. Otherwise, it’s one of very few Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H models we’ve seen pop up for sale recently, a list that includes a supercharged Rapid Red convertible and a supercharged Shadow Black drop top.

So its a $40k Mustang GT with a $7k blower on top, different wheels and some shiny stickers…… For over $100k…? The dumb $hit people spend money on never ceases to amaze me. To top it off this car will live a horrible life of being bought\sold\bought\sold and sit in storage forever. Nobody will enjoy it and take it out for a good thrashing. You would be a fool to do so when you could have built the same car for half the price to beat on. At current used prices, more like 1\3 the price all in fully built.
