2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E Shelby GT-H Heading Back To Auction

This past April, a 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E Shelby GT-H surfaced for auction at Cars & Bids, though it was only bid up to $44,444 and failed to meet its reserve price. The rather rare (one of 100 built) and special version of the EV crossover was originally sold with an MSRP of $87,136, so it’s not terribly surprising that the seller didn’t want to let it go for roughly half of that, especially since it had just 7,600 miles on the clock at that time. Now, this same Ford Mustang Mach-E Shelby GT-H will attempt to find a suitable buyer once again.

That’s because the sportier Mach-E is set to be auctioned off at Mecum’s upcoming Florida Summer Special 2025 sale next month, but it’s been driven a bit over the past few months, as it now has just over 10k miles showing on the odometer. It’s number 49 of 100 built by Shelby for Hertz, with this special package adding a bevy of extras including a Borla GT500 simulated exhaust sound system, 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels with GT-H center caps, a carbon fiber hood, Mach-E hood vent, gold exterior stripes, carbon fiber front lip, and GT-H seat embroidery.

Finished in Shadow Black, the Shelby Mach-E also left the factory with features such as the extended-range 91 kWh battery pack, a panoramic glass roof, the Bang & Olufsen sound system, and BlueCruise. Power comes from dual electric motors that churn out a combined 480 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque, flowing to all four wheels and propelling the EV from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds and down the quarter mile in 12.4 clicks, all with an EPA-estimated 260 miles of range.

This Ford Mustang Mach-E Shelby GT-H remains in mostly excellent condition with the factory warranty intact, but it isn’t without a couple of flaws, at least. In its prior auction listing, the seller noted that the crossover has some paint chips on the front fascia and passenger side rear door, along with scuffs on certain interior pieces, plus creases in the driver’s seat bolster. Regardless, it’s a pretty rare machine that may wind up finding a new owner in its second stint on the auction block.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
