Two years ago, Ford Authority blew the lid on the American Ford F-150 Lobo program. Last year, the 2025 Ford Maverick Lobo broke cover before its larger sibling’s own Lobo variant officially saw the light of day. Now, the 2025 Ford F-150 Lobo is finally out in the open, and it’s essentially a comprehensive appearance package for the STX trim.
The unique upper grille and light bar represent the biggest aesthetic changes to the 2025 Ford F-150 Lobo, part of a 10-piece ground appearance package designed to lower the pickup visually. But the new package also functionally drops the truck by two inches, and the Blue Oval says the pickup sits lower than a base XL model. The basics of Lobo are intended to attract buyers already interested in creating a street pickup of their own, and Ford says they represent an untapped market.
As is typical with the current zeitgeist, the 2025 Ford F-150 Lobo features a plethora of blacked-out exterior trim, including the hood vents, exhaust, and badging. Lobo pickups also come standard with special 22-inch gloss-black wheels. Further differentiating the Lobo is the addition of a cowl hood, plus unique headlamps and taillamps. The grille also eschews the molded-in-color black for actual paint.
Functionally, the 2025 Ford F-150 Lobo features a lot of equipment available in the STX lineup and elsewhere. It comes with a 3.73 final drive ratio and the two-speed automatic four-wheel drive, plus black exhaust tips. The Coyote 5.0L V8 engine is the solely available powerplant, with output unchanged at 400 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque, although perhaps in a nod to people expecting more from the package, the automaker said that “we know some will take this great foundation for future personalization.”
That great foundation is solely available for STX Mid package SuperCrew pickups for $4,695. All in, the base price for a 2025 Ford F-150 Lobo pickup comes in at $60,490 including destination and delivery. Shoppers can build and price the pickup right now.

I think putting at least a Ford Pwerformance intake/tune package on this would have been a good idea. But I get why cost wise they didn’t use the 480/420 Mustang V8, but it would have been nice.
I do like the looks from what we can see.
I Hope they Have a rear wheel drive option so you can drop it real low with 4/6 lowering kit!!
I’m a lifetime Ford owner and the current owner of an F-150, but Ford pisses me off more and more with their packaging decisions. They FINALLY offer 4A on an F-150 that isn’t a high trim level, and they put it on a low(er) rider with 22’s. I would really love it if they would offer 4A on an XLT, or even the lower-trim Tremor model with cloth seats. I just don’t understand.
What’s not to understand? It’s all about the profits. No manufacturer is going to offer a true build-your-own anything from the options list anymore, especially if it’s at an affordable price.
I totally agree with you. Some of this packaging is put together by ignorant new hires and approved by imbeciles who have no clue.
I do have a clue…. You clearly do not
60 grand for an STX with an appearance package…and more cheap grainy plastic on the front. No thanks.
does the lobo on the SuperCrew come w front bench seats
Ford really missed the mark no single cab and no horsepower bump what a weak effort. Ford did not even talk to any street truck customer if they did they would know a 4 door truck is not the trend it is a 2 door for the street. I really think Ford NA is disconnected from their customer. All the content they deleted from the Ranger Raptor when they brought it here is a good example. They should have left the features on it such as the rear air vents and grab handles. No horsepower boost means slowest truck too all the 6 sixes will smoke it. These guys keep saying they talk to the customers but who. When all the street guys want more power, floor console shifter and a single cab. Ford really messed up on the features too it would be nice to have the top radio. These guys must be asking ford escape customer about trucks.
The Four Doors and lack of a longer bed is a deal breaker for me.
…. the Ford Pandering Division is really aiming low on this one.
.
Did you have fun with that?
Hope you feel better.
Time for your juice box and a nap.
I hope they build it with better quality than in the last few years! But I suppose that would be expecting too much. Time will tell!
Meh.
Lower a 4 door truck and charge more for it.
Should have called it the “Cheech & Chong” package…
You won’t find one of these wheel and stripe package Lobo trucks for 60K
Got the five oh no engine.
The Japanese started offering vehicles with everything “included” and now it’s difficult to option a vehicle to your liking.
The days when your grandpa was such a tight wad he would order a heater delete are long gone.
