2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E: Ford Connectivity Packages Outlined

Though not representative of a true midcycle refresh, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E received a number of notable changes and updates, including the addition of the new Ford Connectivity Packages. There are a handful of options for buyers interested in taking advantage of them, and Ford Authority examines each one in detail, including their content, availability, and pricing information.

The Ford Connectivity Package is brand new for the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E. As its name implies, it fits the electric crossover with a number of connectivity features. Specifically, it bundles 5G connectivity where applicable, supporting audio and video streaming. It also turns the Mustang Mach-E into a mobile office with a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, while also equipping it with a three-year Connected Navigation subscription, entertainment in the form of karaoke, and a built-in Amazon Alexa voice assistant feature.

A complementary one-year subscription to the Ford Connectivity Package is included on every 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E trim, including Select, Premium, and GT. However, buyers will have to shell out if they want to continue using it beyond that timeframe. Thankfully, The Blue Oval offers a one-time purchase for $745, which guarantees service for seven years.

Note that the one-time purchase is attached to a specific VIN and cannot be transferred to another Ford vehicle. That also means that if a 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E equipped with this option is sold by its buyer, the new owner may continue to use the Ford Connectivity Package until the seven-year period is up.

Aside from the aforementioned Ford Connectivity Package, new features that dropped with the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E include a a smaller frunk to make way for an improved heat pump – although the crossover now has more storage in certain areas than the 2024 model it replaced. It will also be the first to get the new BlueCruise 1.5 update when it is released.

Production of the 2025 Mustang Mach-E, which occurs at the Cuautitlan Assembly plant in Mexico, began on January 6th, 2025. Because it is built outside of the U.S., the electric crossover is subject to tariffs, meaning its base price has increased to $37,995, not including destination freight charges. For comparison, the entry level Select trim was priced at $36,495 upon launch.
