The 2025 Lincoln Nautilus offers a choice of two powertrains: either the gasoline-burning 2.0L I4 engine or the hybrid 2.0L I4 variant. For luxury buyers, engine choice isn’t just about sound and size – it’s also about the horsepower and torque that meet you at the end of the accelerator. Now, the luxury brand has released official horsepower figures for both of the Nautilus powertrains.
The turbocharged 2.0L EcoBoost I4 engine serves as the base powertrain for the 2025 Lincoln Nautilus. The gasoline engine is tuned to deliver 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, and mated to the eight-speed automatic transmission. It’s standard on all three trims, including Premiere, Reserve, and Black Label models. Note that fuel economy is rated at 21 mpg city and 29 mph highway for 24 mpg combined.
Meanwhile, the 2.0L hybrid engine is mated to an automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a 100kW electric motor. The pairing results in 310 total system horsepower while providing 30 mpg city and 31 mpg highway, or 30 mpg combined. This setup can be acquired on all three 2025 Lincoln Nautilus trims for an extra $2,000.
Engine | Fuel | Aspiration | Transmission | Drivetrain | Horsepower @ RPM | Torque @ RPM | Axle Ratio |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
2.0L EcoBoost I4 | Gasoline 93 Octane | Turbocharged | 8-speed automatic | AWD | 250 @ 5500 | 280 @ 3000 | 3.805:1 |
2.0L Hybrid I4 | Gasoline 93 Octane | Turbocharged | CVT | AWD | 310 @ 5500 | 295 @ 3000 | 3.37:1 |
Regardless of engine, the 2025 Lincoln Nautilus is exclusively offered with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) drivetrain. It also features five selectable drive modes, including normal, conserve, excite, slippery, and deep conditions.
While the 2025 Lincoln Nautilus holds steady after its redesign for the 2023 model year, it does feature an update extended trial periods for Lincoln Premium Connectivity, which is a part of the Connected Services plan and adds select digital features to new Lincoln vehicles, fitting them with connected built-in navigation, BlueCruise, Alex Built-In, SiriusXM, and Wi-Fi hotspots, to name just a few.
Production of the 2025 Lincoln Nautilus began in August at the Changan Ford Hangzhou Assembly plant in China, as Ford Authority previously reported. Pricing for the base Nautilus Premiere starts at $51,790, up slightly from 2024.
