The all-new 2026 Ford Ranger Super Duty debuted just this past April as an ultra-capable version of the mid-size pickup destined for markets like Australia, where the F-Series based Super Duty isn’t sold. It borrows some features from its much larger counterpart, including eight-lug wheels coupled with a stronger chassis, locking front and rear differentials, and a fortified transfer case with a low range. One thing we didn’t know about the Ford Ranger Super Duty was how much it will cost, but now, that information has been released, too.
According to CarExpert, the 2026 Ford Ranger Super Duty will launch in Australia with a base MSRP of $82,990 AUS ($54,217 USD) for the Single Cab-Chassis model before on-road costs, and that doesn’t include a “tray,” or any sort of bed out back. If one wants to add such a feature, it will cost them somewhere between $7,121 to $9,376 more – though that does include installation – bringing its cost up to $90,111-$92,266.
For those that need room for more passengers, the SuperCab-Chassis starts out at $86,480, with trays adding another $6,296-$8,551, bringing that cost up to $92,776-$95,351. Finally, we have the Double Cab-Chassis model, which has an MSRP of $89,990 with trays adding another $5,966-$8,166 to the cost, elevating the total to somewhere between $95,956 and $98,156, minus other options.
As Ford Authority previously reported, the Ford Ranger Super Duty was actually conceived by the Blue Oval’s Australian unit, and then shaped by fleets that rely on pickups for work duties there. In fact, Ford spoke with folks in a variety of industries including farming, emergency services, mining, and forestry to see what each considers to be its “ideal” work vehicle, as well as figure out how, exactly, each uses its vehicles currently. What it found is that most were turning to pricey upgrades in an effort to increase the capability of those work vehicles, which was the driving factor behind making the Ranger Super Duty ultra-capable right out of the box.
