Following its latest redesign for the 2023 model year, the Ford Super Duty proceeded to get a few notable updates for 2025, too – including the addition of a new standard gas engine, big changes for the Platinum trim, and the addition of the new, bespoke Platinum Plus option, to name just a few. The Blue Oval isn’t resting on its laurels either, as the 2026 Ford Super Duty is also slated to receive a few updates for the latest model year, though they aren’t quite as major in scope. The latest 2026 Ford Super Duty update pertains to the addition of a new speaker option, in fact.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the entire 2026 Ford Super Duty lineup – including chassis cab models – are getting a new dealer-installed Kicker subwoofer option. It’s unclear how much this option will cost as of now, but we do know that it’s only available in SuperCab and Crew Cab models, and for non-chassis pickups, it can’t be paired with the XLT Premium Package, specifically.
This is one of a few tweaks in store for the 2026 Ford Super Duty lineup, which Ford Authority has covered extensively as of late. One of the most notable is the return of two-wheel drive as standard equipment for the XLT and Lariat trims, which transitioned to four-wheel drive only as part of the 2023 redesign. Additionally, the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is now standard on all 2026 Ford Super Duty trims and configurations, whereas for 2025, that was limited to F-350 Super Duty SRW and DRW models.
The 2026 Ford Super Duty has also gained the GB70 Battery Jump Start System (produced by NOCO) as a dealer-installed option, while the fan-favorite factory-installed SecuriCode keyless entry keypad is making a comeback as a standalone option on most trims, including XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum, and is also bundled into the XLT Premium Package. Finally, all 2026 Ford Super Duty models, trims, and configurations get a complimentary one-year subscription to Ford Connectivity Package features as standard, too.
