The redesigned 2025 Ford Expedition made its official debut last October, and began to arrive on dealer lots in early April. The large SUV has thus far proven to be quite popular with shoppers in that space, and is turning on dealer lots in short order as a result. However, while the 2025 Expedition can be had with a more potent high-output version of the twin turbocharged 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine making 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque as standard in the Tremor and as an option in the Platinum, Ford doesn’t currently offer a true street performance-focused version of it (sans the Stealth Performance Package anyway) – making the new 2026 Nissan Armada Nismo rather unique.
The Nissan Armada itself received a comprehensive redesign for the 2025 model year, and now, it’s getting the Nismo treatment – which is, to say, pretty interesting. There’s certainly no mistaking the Nissan Armada Nismo with its more pedestrian counterpart, thanks to a large front grille with a huge splitter, LED fog lamps, side skirts, a rear diffuser, Nismo badges, and loads of red accents. The sportier SUV sits 0.7 inches lower and rolls on 22-inch wheels wrapped with Bridgestone Alenza Sport A/S Enliten all-season tires, too.
Those same red accents carry over to the interior, with a stripe running down the center console and microsuede quilted inserts in the seats. There are more Nismo badges here as well, along with ambient lighting, aluminum pedals, a 12 o’clock marker on the steering wheel, and various other unique touches. Power comes from the same twin turbocharged 3.5L V6 as the standard Armada, but Nissan has tweaked it and given it a more aggressive exhaust to unlock 35 more horsepower – bringing its total up to 460, and it’s joined by a retuned suspension and steering system, to boot.
Offered in two exclusive exterior colors – Stealth Gray and Black Diamond Pearl – and with the option of a black-painted roof and standard seating for seven, the 2026 Nissan Armada is scheduled to arrive this fall. However, Nissan hasn’t announced any pricing info for its large, sporty SUV as of yet.

…. I’m guessing names like The Thing and Matador were already graveyarded …
one look at this piece of artistry, and you realize why Nissan should make urinals instead…

Butt ugly
Horrendous!
That is one ugly, ridiculous vehicle. No wonder Nissan is on its last leg.
With that huge black hole in the center of the front end surrounded by red look horrendous
automakers need to wake up and realize that adding horsepower to vehicles is not everything in a car. all they talk about in the new cars is the amount of HP they run and that’s not all there is to a car.
