After experiencing a long sales streak with 13 consecutive months of increases, Ford Brazil’s sales suffered a decline during the month of May. The Blue Oval brand ultimately ended its streak with a slight single-digit loss and a year-over-year decrease of just 86 units. With this, Ford began to stabilize its volume in the Brazilian market after a full year of growth.
While most models in the Ford Brazil lineup managed to increase their sales in the month, the volume loss of two nameplates caused an overall decline in May. The affected models were the Ford Territory and Ford Maverick, with year-over-year losses exceeding 50 percent, which together represented a decrease of 401 units compared to the same period in 2024.
Solid growth for the Ford Ranger and positive sales for two other models helped contain the total loss percentage to single digits for the month. The midsize pickup achieved a total of 364 additional deliveries in May, continuing its strong momentum in the Brazilian market, where it has significantly improved its competitiveness thanks to the new-generation model.
