The Ford Authority Take
Ford Chile sales healthy increase in April continues to drive the brand’s strong performance in the South American country, where it is experiencing a solid streak showing consistent improvement that has boosted its market share. In fact, the result represents Ford’s eighth consecutive monthly increase in the Chilean market and allowed it to surpass Chevrolet among the best-selling brands.
Once again, at least three Ford Chile models managed to increase their sales numbers in April, with a combined total of 236 units added to the total monthly result. Among them, the Ford Territory stands out with the largest percentage and volume increase, adding 76 year-over-year deliveries, cementing its position as the brand’s second best-selling model in the country.
Additionally, the Ford F-Series lineup also achieved healthy growth and contributed to the overall strong result of the brand, closing as the best-selling full-size pickup in the market. In contrast, the best-selling Ford Ranger suffered a slight monthly contraction in the low single digits, losing only six units year-over-year.
