Ford Credit Offer Payment Relief To Tennessee Customers

If there’s one thing we’ve come to count on, it’s the fact that Ford Credit and Lincoln Automotive Financial Services will be among the first to spring into action and help those in need following any kind of natural disaster imaginable, whether that be a hurricane, tornado, fire, flood, or anything else that can cause serious hardships for its customers. We’ve seen this time and time again in the wake of those types of devastating experiences, and now, Ford Credit and its Lincoln counterpart are delivering payment relief to customers in Tennessee, too.

Recently, parts of Tennessee experienced some severe storms with devastating straight-line winds, tornadoes, and flooding, which creates enough hardship on those that were impacted as it is. Thus, Ford Credit and Lincoln Automotive Financial Services are offering up help in the form of payment extensions of up to 60 days for customers that live in counties eligible for FEMA’s Individuals and Households Program – a list that currently includes Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Dyer, Hardeman, McNairy, Montgomery, Obion, and Wilson.

Folks that reside in one of those areas and wish to request a payment extension on their Blue Oval vehicle can do so by visiting www.ford.com/finance, or via the Ford Credit app. Alternatively, customers can also call 1-800-723-4016 to request disaster relief, which is the required method for lessees – those with a loan can utilize any of the three contact methods. It is worth noting that as usual, interest may continue to accrue on these deferred payments, however.

This is just the latest in a long line of natural disasters that Ford Credit and Lincoln Automotive Financial Services have followed with either payment relief options for customers, donations, providing vehicles to relief  agencies, or volunteer efforts. Last year, customers affected by Hurricanes Francine and Helene became eligible to receive a payment extension, and earlier this year, that same option was provided to folks in Arkansas following a series of tornadoes and severe storms, as well as residents of Kentucky and West Virginia.
