Ford Enhances Military Personnel Discount On New Cars

Following a period of years when new vehicle inventory was low and demand was high – sending prices soaring and effectively making incentives disappear – things have changed dramatically as of late. Incentives have made a big comeback over the past few months, providing new car shoppers with some welcome relief, and Ford has offered its fair share of them. That all started with the employee discount for everyone program that debuted back in early April, and now, military personnel can score a special deal on a new Blue Oval vehicle, too.

Ford just announced that it’s expanding its existing Military Exclusive Cash Reward program to include all veterans – active or retired – and it’s also increasing the bonus cash that those folks can take advantage of as well, upping it to $1,000. The new Ford military discount is good toward the purchase or lease of a new, eligible Ford or Lincoln vehicle, but it’s also a limited-time offer that runs now through July 7, 2025.

Those that have served can stack this $1,000 bonus cash offer with existing employee pricing as well, and that program is now scheduled to end on the very same day. To snag a certificate that enables them to take advantage of the offer, veterans and active duty military members can register and verify their status through ID.me by visiting Fordrecognizesu.com.

Since its launch, Ford’s employee pricing for everyone plan has enjoyed tremendous success, which is precisely why The Blue Oval opted to extend it into July recently. Within a couple of weeks of the incentive’s launch, Ford announced that dealer showroom traffic had effectively doubled, in fact, and that also translated into big sales boosts. As of mid-May, Ford had sold 150,000 vehicles with the special discount applied, in fact, a piece of news that came straight from the company’s CEO, Jim Farley.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  1. It’s a shame Ford keeps changing the Military Personnel Discount On new vehicles. Two weeks ago I checked if I qualify for the veterans discount and ID me said no. I bought a new Ford F150 Lariat Hybrid truck on June 9. Now Ford came out with $1000. Veterans discount that I qualify for. But because I leased the truck a couple days before, I’m not eligible.
