Over the past couple of years, we’ve watched Ford Mustang Mach-E prices drop in pretty much every market the EV crossover is sold globally, and that includes Australia. Ford began slashing Mach-E prices in that part of the world in late 2023, and cut them even more in May 2024, after which the same model was treated to substantial lease discounts in December of last year. This, just last month, the Australian Ford Mustang Mach-E received some big discounts ranging from $7,000-$12,000, depending on trim, all in an effort to move existing dealer stock. Now, shoppers have even more discounts to take advantage of.
According to Drive, these Ford Mustang Mach-E price cuts vary by region in Australia, as well as trim level, but start at between $5,000 and $9,500 for the entry-level Select. Customers can “drive away” in that particular trim for $63,000, a model that typically starts out at $64,990 plus on-road costs, which add thousands to its price tag. Moving up to the mid-grade Premium trim means that customers can save between $6,000 and $11,500, scoring a drive away price of $77,000.
For those that covet the high-performance Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, that range-topping model can be had with discounts ranging from $7,700 to $14,400 depending on region. It has a drive away price of $94,000 including on-road costs, compared to its typical $97,990 price tag.
It is worth noting that these special prices apply only to 2023.75 model year versions of the Ford Mustang Mach-E, which is currently the only one on sale in Australia. The updated 2025 model year Mach-E is heading to that country in the second half of this year, though it has already launched in the U.S. and Europe. Those updates include the addition of a new standard heat pump (which results in a smaller frunk), a shifter that’s been relocated from the console to the steering column, and a variety of package and color changes.
