Ford Raptor Style Grilles On Sale Down Under For Ranger, Everest

It’s no secret that the Ford Raptor line of ultra high-performance vehicles has become tremendously popular in the markets where they’re sold, and not just because they’re incredibly capable. Rather, the Ford Raptor lineup is easy to spot thanks to its aggressive appearance upgrades that generally consist of wider bodywork, off-road tires, and of course, that signature “FORD” script grille with three amber lights up front. However, not everyone can afford nor potentially wants or needs something like a Ford Ranger Raptor, and the automaker doesn’t offer an Everest Raptor either – though now, shoppers in Australia can mimic that look.

As Ford Authority previously reported, there are a plethora of Ford Raptor style grilles available in the U.S. for a number of models already – the Ford F-150, Ford Super Duty, Ranger, Ford Explorer, Ford Escape, Ford Edge, Ford Expedition, Ford EcoSport, to name just a few. Now, Ford Australia is getting in on that particular market as well, this time, providing a Raptor-like grille for the Ranger and Everest, according to Drive.

Unlike third-party options, this new Ford Raptor grille from the automaker itself is a dealer-installed option that’s OEM official, replacing the factory Blue Oval badge with the familiar, rather large “FORD” script. Customers can choose from two colors – Conquer Grey or Absolute Black – with pricing coming in at $799 installed. The grilles are even covered by Ford’s five-year, unlimited mileage warranty when installed before a customer takes delivery, but even if one opts to put it on a model they already own, it falls under the remainder of the vehicle’s warranty or one-year, 20,000 kilometers, whichever is greater.

In terms of compatibility, these Ford Raptor grilles fit the Ranger XLT (with or without the Touring Pack), Ranger Wildtrak, and Everest Ambiente, Trend, and Sport. It isn’t compatible with the Everest Tremor, or the Ranger XL, XLS, Sport, Tremor, Wildtrak X, and Platinum.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
