Ford has launched a bevy of post-purchase experiences in the U.S. in recent years, ranging from the Raptor Assault driving school to the Bronco Off-Roadeo to a variety of track-focused offerings revolving around the S650-generation Mustang. These types of experiences aren’t just limited to Ford’s domestic customers, however – rather, it has also created quite a few for folks living in China as well. In fact, Ford China has launched several new post-purchase outings at specially curated locations as of late, with the newest being the just-opened JMC Off-Road Experience Center.
The JMC Off-Road Experience Center is a globally Ford-certified professional off-road venue, and is now officially open in Xiao Lan. Ford teamed up with its joint-venture partner in China, JMC (Jiangling Motors Corporation) to create the new off-road park, which is designed specifically to provide customers with a variety of terrain well-suited to the off-road-focused vehicles Ford sells there – including the Ford Bronco and Ford Ranger, specifically.
The JMC Off-Road Experience Center is just the latest such location for The Blue Oval, which just opened up another Off-Road Park in Jining, Shandong, late last year. That location became the first outdoor lifestyle theme park created by an automotive brand in China, as well as the country’s first AORX certified track that’s the largest in all of Asia, and it joins the Ford F-150 Raptor Off-Road Academy, which debuted in Southwest China nearly two years ago.
For those that crave more of a track-based outing, the new Ford Mustang Track Academy just debuted this past April, offering owners the chance to participate in “Elite Course” and “Elite Course Pro” classes, which focus more on shaving seconds off one’s lap times. Those that want to learn how to drift can do so as well thanks to a new, dedicated performance drift course, also located at Zhejiang International Racecourse. In the near future, the Ford Mustang Track Academy is set to hit the road and visit cities including Nanjing, Chengdu, Tianjin, Guangdong, and Shanghai.

One of the last places on earth I’d want to see, outside of Taiwan. Ford, you’ve lost your minds and now that’s certified.
