New 2015-2025 Ford Mustang Floor Mats Feature Classic Silhouette

Floor mats are one of those things that pretty much everyone tends to buy alongside a new vehicle, if it doesn’t come with them as is, at least. Carpeted floor mats are generally a must, though most have moved up to weather-ready mats that catch things like little rocks, mud, dirt, and other debris, making it easier to clean the inside of one’s vehicle without having to spend all day vacuuming. However, we’d have a tough time covering up these new carpeted Ford Mustang floor mats, because they’re pretty darn cool to look at.

These new Ford Mustang floor mats are now available via the Ford Performance catalog under part number M-13086-M6, with a retail price of $115. They’re designed to fit 2015-2025 pony cars from the S550 and S650 generation, and this kit consists of two front premium-grade 28oz black carpeted mats, which are custom designed to fit the exact contours of one’s interior flooring. There’s also mat retention built into the driver’s side mat, so it won’t go sliding around when one is enjoying some spirited driving.

However, unlike some other, similar floor mats, these have a pretty nifty feature that will make one think twice before slapping a set of all-weather mats on top of them – a silver embroidered silhouette of the original 1965 Ford Mustang, which is pretty nifty given the fact that it’s turning 60 years old this year. If nothing else, that feature helps modern-day pony car owners celebrate where it all began, if in just a small and subtle way.

For those that don’t necessarily want or need this embroidered first-generation Mustang on their floor mats, Ford Performance also offers a very similar set without it. Rather, those premium mats feature a more subtle “Ford Performance” logo tag that’s sewn into the edge of the mat for greater durability, and are made from a black premium-grade 60 ounce carpeting custom fit to perfectly match the Mustang’s front floors.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
