Ford Bronco, Mustang E-Bikes Get First-Ever Discount

Over the past few years, e-bikes have exploded in popularity, particularly in urban areas, where they make it far easier to get around than cars – not to mention the fact that folks don’t have to pay big bucks for a parking space to store them in, either. E-bikes are also increasingly popular because they give folks who may not otherwise be physically able to ride a bike at all a way to do so, all of which is at least part of why The Blue Oval teamed up with e-bike manufacturer N+ last year to create two of them – one based on the Ford Bronco, and the other, the Ford Mustang. Now, those e-bikes are being treated to their first-ever discount.

As first reported by 9to5Toys, the Ford Bronco and Mustang e-bikes can now be purchased with a $500 discount by using the promo code DEARBORN500 at checkout, marking the first time The Blue Oval has budged on the $4,000 asking price of either – which grows by a few hundred dollars if one opts for certain colorways. The special discount arrives just in time for the Independence Day holiday, which just so happens to be a popular time to roll out deals of all sorts.

Both the Ford Bronco and Mustang e-bikes feature 750W hub motors generating 85 Nm of torque for a top speed of 28 mph, up to 60 miles of range, four-piston hydraulic brakes, and a full-color LCD panel. Otherwise, there are some unique features that set the two apart, as one might imagine. The Bronco e-bike features a GOAT-inspired inspired dual suspension system and a motorcycle-style seat, for example, along with off-road friendly Pirelli Scorpion Enduro M hardwall 27.5″ x 2.6″ tires.

As for the Mustang e-bike, it utilizes Pirelli Angel GT semi-slick tires and a conventional bike seat to cater more toward on-road performance. Both bikes offer up a number of alternative color options, but those will add $390 to the price tag.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  1. Oh, so Ford isn’t happy just making poor quality vehicles. Now they’re going to focus on poor quality bikes. These are entry level bikes. Wouldn’t waste my money on one. Maybe they should spend all the extra money they seem to have on making quality vehicles. Do better Ford. Stay in your lane.
