U.S. Ford Motor Company Sales Grew 14 Percent In Q2 2025

Ford Motor Company sales increased 14 percent to 612,095 units during second quarter of 2025 in the United States. Sales increased at both FMC brands, Ford and Lincoln.

“We blew the doors off the overall industry with our second-quarter sales,” said President at Ford Blue and Model e, and interim head of Ford Pro, Andrew Frick. “Customers continue appreciating our broad powertrain choices – gas, hybrid, electric, and diesel – digital productivity tools that save time and money, and our Ford Motor Company: From America, For America commitment,” he added.

FoMoCo Sales Notes – U.S. Q2 2025

  • Total Ford Motor Company sales during second quarter of 2025 increased 14.2 percent to 612,095 units
    • Truck sales increased 11.0 percent to342,761 units
    • SUV sales decreased 19.6 percent to255,160 units
    • Car sales decreased 3.2 percent to 14,174 units
    • Electric Vehicle (EV) sales totaled 16,438 units, down 31.4 percent
    • Hybrid Vehicle sales totaled 66,448 units, up 23.5 percent
    • Internal Combustion vehicle sales totaled 529,209 units, up 15.5 percent
  • FoMoCo Q2 market share surged on truck, hybrid, SUV strength
  • Ford F-Series trucks posted their best second quarter since 2019
    • F-Series sales climbed 11.5 percent to 222,459 units on the broadest lineup of gas, diesel, hybrid, and electric powertrains in the segment
    • The pickup range was the best-selling truck in America for the first-half of the year
  • Record electrified vehicle sales, which represented 13.5 percent of Ford’s total second quarter volume with a record 156,509 units
  • Lincoln saw the highest second quarter volume since 2007 (in 18 years) on double-digit growth

During the first six months of the 2025 calendar year, Ford Motor Company sales increased 6.6 percent to 1,113,386 units.

  1. And most of that Q2 gain was due to this Employee Pricing nonsense. Save 10%, woo-hoo. When you could save a lot more before this plan took effect. Those in the know are avoiding Ford while the brain dead are running toward it.

  2. Great job Ford you made many customers happy. Good to see positive sales gains without people getting taken advantage, like the normal sales process. Could be extended also giving more people a chance to buy and not drive old broken down vehicles.
