Transit 2-Tonne, or internally known as Ford V363 is the designation used for a Ford Motor vehicle architecture designed to underpin full-size front-engine, rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive passenger and cargo vans. This platform is currently in production for consumer and commercial vehicles sold under the Ford nameplate worldwide. Future Models

While it will look somewhat identical to the current model, the 2020 North-American Ford Transit will receive a variety of important updates. All-wheel-drive will be offered on the vehicle for the first time since its inception and two new engines will be added to the lineup: the 3.5L Ti-VCT Cyclone V6 and the 2.0L EcoBlue biturbo diesel I4 shared with the European-market Ford Ranger. All engines will be paired to an all-new ten-speed automatic transmission and the interior will be restyled to resemble the 2020 Ford Explorer.
