Ford Bronco Warthog

The Bronco Warthog is expected to be an upcoming variant of the Ford Bronco.

We have gathered the following information via research and information gathering. Some of the details contained herein are speculative. This page is a continuous work-in-progress and will be updated on a regular basis to reflect the latest information about the upcoming Bronco Warthog.

We welcome your feedback. If you notice any inaccuracies about the information provided, or have edits to suggest, please let us know here. All information provided is kept strictly confidential.

Expectations

There are two predominant theories surrounding the Bronco Warthog:

  1. The name will be used on an ultra-high-performance version of the Bronco SUV. Currently, we believe that this vehicle will end up being called the Bronco Raptor.
  2. The name will be used on yet another version of the Bronco, one that has a different intent/purpose than the high-performance desert runner that the Bronco Raptor will become.

For the time being, we will refer to the ultra-high-performance model with desert storming capabilities as the Bronco Raptor, while believing that the Warthog name will be used on a different kind of model.

Naming

Ford has filed to trademark the Bronco Warthog name with the United States Patent and Trademark Office in September 2020. A few days later, the automaker filed the same trademark application in Mexico.

Production Location

Whatever form the Bronco Warthog takes, it will be assembled alongside the “regular” Bronco models at the Ford Michigan Assembly Plant (MAP) in Wayne, Michigan, USA. MAP is the only facility in the world to build the Bronco.

Release Date & Availability

It is currently unclear when the Ford Bronco Warthog will be introduced or go into production.
