2025 Ford Escape

forThe 2025 Ford Escape represents the fifth model year of the crossover’s fourth generation for which it receives minor changes and updates, including the deletion of standard ambient lighting, minor alterations to its exterior color lineup, and more.

These changes follow the 2023 Escape, which was treated to a significant midcycle update, and subsequent minor changes for the 2024 model year.

Changes, Updates, New Features

The 2025 Ford Escape is subject to a handful of changes and updates. This includes the deletion of two exterior colors, along with its rain-sensing wipers. It also loses its body-color cladding in favor of black molded-in-color (MIC) cladding, along with similar changes to its front and rear fascias, plus other similar changes just to name a few.

Powertrain

The 2025 Ford Escape offers a choice of two powertrains, including the turbocharged Ford 1.5L I3 EcoBoost engine, which provides 180 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque for the Escape Base, Active and ST-Line trims. Also available is the turbocharged Ford 2.0L I4 EcoBoost, good for 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, optional for the ST-Line and standard for the ST-Line Select, ST-Line Elite and Platinum trims.
