The 2025 Ford Escape, representing the fifth model year of the crossover’s fourth generation, gets minor updates and changes.
These changes follow the 2023 Ford Escape, which received a comprehensive midcycle refresh, followed by subsequent minor changes for the 2024 model year.

Exterior
- Deletion of rain-sensing wipers
- For the 2024 model year, this feature was standard on ST-Line Select and Platinum trims; optional on PHEV as part of PHEV Premium Package
- Black upper window molding with Black beltline molding is now standard on Active
- For the 2024 model year, Active trim featured chrome upper window molding and black beltline molding
- Chrome beltline molding is now standard on PHEV
- For the 2024 model year, this feature was not available
- Black molded-in-color (MIC) lower bodyside cladding and rocker panel are now standard on ST-Line and ST-Line Select
- For the 2024 model year, this feature was unavailable
- Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (paint code D4) is now optional on Active
- For the 2024 model year, Rapid Red was not available on Active trim, but was optional on PHEV, ST-Line, ST-Line Select, ST-Line Elite, and Platinum
- Mini spare wheel with jack is now included with 2.5L I4 hybrid engine and optional with 1.5L I4 EcoBoost engine
- For the 2024 model year, models with these engines featured tire patch kit
- Black MIC front bumper now standard on ST-Line and ST-Line Select
- For the 2024 model year, body color front bumper was standard on these trims
- Black upper MIC rear bumper with Silver lower MIC rear bumper now standard on Active
- For the 2024 model year, all-black MIC rear bumper was standard on Active
- MIC Black upper and lower bumper now standard on ST-Line and ST-Line Select

- Six-way manual driver seat is now standard on Active
- For the 2024 model year, eight-way power driver seat was standard on Active, but is now not available on this trim
- ActiveX trimmed seats with Quilting design and mini-perforation are now optional
- Availability: Platinum Premium Technology Package, ST-Line Elite Premium Technology Package, and PHEV with Premium Package
- For the 2024 model year, ActiveX trimmed seats were standard on, and exclusive to, Platinum trim
- Urethane steering wheel is now standard on Active
- For the 2024 model year, Premium Wrapped steering wheel was standard on Active trim
- Deletion of Ambient Lighting with Floor Lights
- For the 2024 model year, this feature was standard on ST-Line Elite, Platinum, PHEV
- Deletion of aluminum foot pedals on all ST-Line trims
- For the 2024 model year, this feature was standard on ST-Line, ST-Line Select, and ST-Line Elite
