The 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E represents the electric crossover’s third model year, with a minor slew of changes and updates, headlined by the Nite Pony package and standard AWD for California Route 1 trim.
Model Line
The 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E continues to be offered in four trim levels:
- Select
- California Route 1
- Premium
- GT
Changes and Updates
The 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E California Route 1 trim gains standard AWD. Previously, for the 2022 model year, RWD was standard.
Meanwhile, as far as colors go, the Mustang Mach-E gains a body color steel roof as an option for fleet-only GT and GT Performance Edition models. Carbonized Gray Metallic and Vapor Blue Metallic have been added to the exterior color option lineup, while Dark Matter Gray Metallic and Iced Silver Metallic have been deleted.
The GT and GT Performance Edition trims no longer feature a Black-painted roof, and now instead feature body color roofs. The Panoramic fixed-glass roof with infrared reflective windshield is now standard on GT and GT Performance Edition models, after previously being optional for the aforementioned trims.
The 19-inch summer tires are no longer available on the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium, and the 19-inch Shadow Silver-painted aluminum wheels with high-gloss Black-painted aero covers have also been deleted from the lineup.
The Mustang Mach-E Premium and GT trims gain the dark-themed Nite Pony Package, which includes a host of black accents such as high gloss Black-painted wheels, special black outlined “Mach-E X” badging for RWD models or “Mach-E 4X” badging for AWD models, a Grille Pony badge with Black outline, and Black-painted wheel center caps with Bright Pony graphics. The Ice White Appearance Package, meanwhile, has been deleted from the lineup.
