2025 Lincoln Aviator

The 2025 Lincoln Aviator represents the sixth model year of the second generation’s utility vehicle’s second generation, for which it receives a refresh consisting of an updated front end and cockpit, along with new tech.

These changes follow the introduction of the second-gen Aviator for the 2020 model year, along with minor changes for the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 model years.

Model Line

The 2025 Lincoln Aviator continues to be offered with rear-wheel-drive (RWD) or all-wheel-drive (AWD) across the following three trim levels:

  • Livery (fleet only)
  • Premiere
  • Reserve
  • Black Label

Changes, Updates, New Features

The 2025 Lincoln Aviator receives a mid-cycle refresh consisting of a refreshed front fascia, a revamped cockpit focused on comfort, an upgraded infotainment system, BlueCruise driver assist technology, and an overhauled exterior color lineup.

Powertrain

The 2025 Lincoln Aviator offers a single powerplant in the form of the twin-turbocharged 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine, which produces 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. The boosted six is mated to Ford’s 10-speed automatic transmission, while power is routed to the rear two wheels (RWD) or all four wheels (AWD). Note that the hybrid Grand Touring was dropped after the 2024 model year.

Pricing

The 2025 Lincoln Aviator becomes more expensive than the 2024 model it replaced.

Production

Production of the 2025 Aviator began in May 2024 at the Ford Chicago Assembly plant.

Seating

The 2025 Aviator is offered in two seating configurations, seating either six or seven passengers:

  • Seven-passenger configuration: this setup features two front buckets seats (providing seating for two), followed by a second row bench (providing seating for three), and a third row bench (providing seating for two), resulting in a 2-3-2 setup
    • Optional exclusively on the Reserve trim
  • Six-passenger configuration: this setup features two front buckets seats (providing seating for two), followed by two bucket seats in the second row (providing seating for two), and a third row bench (providing seating for two), resulting in a 2-2-2 setup
    • Standard on all trims

Beyond 2025

Production of the Lincoln Aviator is expected to continue through 2028 at the Chicago plant. After this model year is built out, the luxury crossover will likely be overhauled, possibly by a battery electric model.
