The new GT500 will build on the performance attributes of the Mustang Shelby GT350. The model is believed to be powered by a supercharged variant of the flat-plane crank V-8, though our spy photographer says that the prototype sounded like it had a cross-plane crank motor.
Expect to see the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 unveiled in late 2018, with customer deliveries commencing in the beginning of 2019.
