Sounds simple enought when you say disable CarPlay. When I looked at the settings on the Edge it didn’t seem quite simple. I didn’t make any changes to the sync settings of the Edge because I was unsure of what I was doing.
And just because the iphone is “the best-rated consumer electronics device for a decade”, it doesn’t make me like them any better. It reminds me of everything computer wise being geared toward Microsoft. I rarely use Windows and turned down the opportunity to own an iphone. I prefer my android and Linux for my day-to-day computing. It gives me the impression that certain things are being forced on me whether I like it or not. That is just my vent for the day.
